Russell Pearce wants to continue to criminalize and hurt the immigrant community in Arizona. As president of the Arizona State Senate, he wants to propose legislation that would go against the 14th amendment and what America stands for.

I Support Recalling Russell Pearce:
We, the undersigned, do not support the Russell Pearce and his hateful rhetoric toward the immigrant community.
Russell Pearce is best known for being the lead sponsor of SB-1070; one of the most hateful and anti-immigrant legislation in the country. And as the new President of Arizona’s Senate, he has no plans to slow down. He is proposing legislation that would deny citizenship to children born in the U.S. to undocumented parents and, in the past, has proposed legislation that goes as far as preventing American citizens from marrying non-American citizens.
We want our legislators to propose real solutions, rather than bring fear and hate into the lives of the immigrant community. Russell Pearce’s hateful rhetoric toward the immigrant and Latino community does nothing but hurt the state of Arizona and the country. He has proven that he’s on the wrong side of history.
In order to stop Russell Pearce’s vendetta against immigrants, the people of Arizona have launched a “Hold Russell Pearce Accountable” campaign; with the goal of removing Russell Pearce from office. On Jan 31st, a delegation arrived at the Secretary of State’s office where they filed a petition to have Senate President Russell Pearce recalled.
We, the undersigned, stand with the people of Arizona in trying to remove Russell Pearce from public office.
