Tell ICE To Let Adrian Receive Treatment Here With His Family!
Update 4/3: ICE is trying to deport Adrian as soon as they find a place for his hospice. After his surgery from ICE's primary concern was where they could send him and not his health or family. Adrian needs proper care and his families support as he deals with his kidney problems. Instead of being rational, ICE is trying to force him to sign his removal papers. Please sign and call to demand that ICE lets him go. Adrian needs treatment and his family, not deportation!
On January 21, a doctor found a tumor in Adrian's kidney, which turned out to be cancerous. Adrian needs surgery immediately to remove the kidney. He is peeing blood and is in a lot of pain in detention. He needs treatment, not deportation!
Adrian has been living in the U.S. since he was 16 years old. He has 3 U.S. citizen children and 4 U.S. citizen grandchildren. Adrian's wife was involved in a terrible car accident and will be undergoing surgery soon. She needs Adrian by her side!

To: President Obama, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, John Morton, and Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano:
I am writing to call for the immediate release of Adrian Siera Sigala (A# 090-387-089) from the Lasalle Detention Center and urge ICE to immediately stop his deportation.
Adrian, originally from Mexico, came to the United States in 1983. He's been here since he was 16 years old. When he met his wife he moved to Oklahoma where he lived with her and their 3 U.S. citizen children. Adrian has been with his wife for 25 years and their partnership has brought them 4 grandchildren.
Adrian tried to renew his green card in early 2012 which he’d had since 1992, but in April when he was out in Arkansas working in a ranch, ICE came and said that fingerprints showed up in the system for a charge 10 years ago, and was then taken into custody. In 2002, cops came to Adrian's home and found a small amount of marijuana, which was for personal consumption. Adrian was arrested but later released under probation, which he completed without a problem.
Adrian is currently being held in Lasalle Detention Center in Louisiana. On January 21st, a doctor found a tumor in his kidney, which turned out to be cancerous; the doctor told Adrian that he needs surgery to remove the kidney. Adrian has been peeing blood and is in a lot of pain. He needs to be released so he can get the treatment and surgery he needs, while he continues to fight his case.
Since he has been in detention, his family has been suffering due to his absence. He is not only the sole provider of the family, but his US Citizen wife will be undergoing surgery soon, due to a terrible car accident she was involved in. She needs Adrian by her side, to help her recover from this and any other surgeries she may need. Adrian is a loving and caring husband, and father who deserves to be reunited with his family. He shouldn't have to be deported for a minor criminal charge from over a decade ago.
I urge you to release Adrian Sierra A# 090-387-089) from the Lasalle Detention Center and urge ICE to immediately stop his deportation.
