We Did It: Nallely Has Been Released!
Update - 03.29.2011
Thanks to your hard-work, Nallely has been released from a detention facility in Arizona! Now, she is free to go back to her family and friends. Sign the petition to the right urging President Obama to keep his promise.
Nallely, (full name: Nalley Farman Felix) was pulled over on this past week (March 2011) for making a 'wide right turn.' Yes that's it, in Arizona you can get deported for nothing more than making a wide right turn!
Right now Nallely is waiting to be transferred (or may have been last night) to Eloy Detention Center. It is not a place you want to go to. We need to try to get ICE to let her go before she even spend 1 day in detention.
Take action. Help us get 2,000 signatures today for Nallely. How many friends can you send this alert too?

The Petition
To President Barack Obama:
President Obama has been a supporter of immigrant youth since his position as an Illinois Senator. As President, he has reiterated his support for DREAM Act youth several times, even saying that his administration does not focus on deporting immigrant youth. However, his words do not match his administration’s actions against undocumented students.
It is time for President Obama to stop the lying to our community. Despite his support for the DREAM Act, his administration has continued to deport immigrant youth, separating us from our friends, family, and only country we know.
Recently, we were able to stop the deportation of our friend, Pedro from Arizona. Currently, we’re fighting to stop the deportation of Manolo, an undocumented student who has lived in Tennessee almost his entire life. We cannot continue to fight the deportation of our friends case by case, while President Obama’s administration continues to lie to the immigrant community in saying immigrant youth are not his priority.
President Obama cannot continue to say he supports immigrant youth while he deports us and causes our families and community to suffer. It is time for President Obama to stop lying to us. As undocumented youth, we demand that the President follow his words with action. It is time for him to finally decide which side he falls on.
We, the undersigned, demand that President Obama stop deporting immigrant youth.
